The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has signed a new contract with the capital club. He talks about his extension and how happy he is to be continuing his adventure with the Rouge et Bleu.
Viti, what motivated your decision to extend your contract with Paris Saint-Germain?
"Above all, it's the happiness I experience playing here at PSG. My family feels good and so do I. I love the city of Paris, I love coming to work at the Campus, I love the people who work here, I love the club. There are lots of reasons why I can stay here for a long time."
How do you feel about your relationship with your coach?
"It's going really well! There's a lot of mutual respect between us. I feel important to the team, but I want to continue to prove that I can be important on the pitch."
What are the differences between the Vitinha when you arrived and the Vitinha of today?
"I've changed a lot since I arrived, including on a human level. Over the years, we've experienced a lot together, with the team, the staff and everyone else. I feel that I've grown since I've been here. I hope to be able to continue on this path in the years to come. It's clear that we want to go very far in all competitions. I hope I can be an important part of that, and I will give it my all."
What message would you like to send to the Paris Saint-Germain fans?
"I can only thank the fans for the support they have given us on a daily basis over all these years. I want that to continue and I'll do everything I can to ensure it does. I'm very happy to be here and to continue this great adventure."
